XStore L2 Support Engineer

Type of Employment: Contract

Work Location: Vancouver, Canada

Skillnet Solutions Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented XStore L2 Support Engineer for their retail clientas part of their Software Engineering community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be working as part of a distributed team to support the XStore Point of Service Application used in the retail store locations across US, Canada and other geographies.
  • The candidate will work towards making sure that all the stores are functional to transact business and issues are addressed and prioritized to make sure that to ensure business continuity.
  • Since this is a critical function it needs the team member to be in Vancouver, CA along with the rest of the team

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience:

  • The candidate will be part of the Level 2 Support team that supports the XStore POS application that is used in stores in CA and the USA.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, documents and support application systems, working on moderately complex to highly complex work tasks or project assignments involving Oracle POS [Micros Retail] Technology
  • Candidate must have experience and a strong understanding of Oracle XStore Application

  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to interact with customers and provide guidance and solutions to the customer.
  • Must be able to handle on-call support.
  • Interact with multiple teams across locations and geographies.
