SkillNet has 2 composite applications that sit on the top of the Retail Services Layer. These are Store Portal and Buyer Dashboard.
Store Portal
Store Portal is essentially a portal application that drives store employee productivity with a set of composite applications that automate key processes in the areas of store associate recruitment, HR Self-Service including automation of benefits enrolment, HR communications and vacation requests, schedule views and purchase requisitions. In addition, SkillNet's Task Management component enables the automation of tasks that typically span departments from the corporate office such as merchandising or marketing all the way to the shop floor. Such processes include promotions automation and new store openings. In addition, the Store Performance Dashboard enables the real-time visibility into store performance against key performance indicators.
Buyer Dashboard
The Buyer Dashboard provides a single window into product performance for a buyer / merchandiser across store sales, supply purchases etc. including information elements such as top alerts, Sales – top stores, promotions – top stores, Monthly Sales: Actual vs. Planned, Monthly Sales by Store: Actual vs. Planned, Currently Active Markdown Sales vs. Markdown Inventory by Store, Currently Active Markdown Sales vs. Markdown Inventory by Markdown # etc. In addition, SkillNet's Task Management module allows the creation of product discovery and introduction processes that account for unstructured collaboration both within and outside the retailer organization.
