Sales Executive

Location:
East Cost, Preferably New York / New Jersey Area or Chicago

About the Company:
SkillNet Solutions is a rapidly growing consulting and technology services organization focused on the retail industry. Amongst its clients are leading retailers such as Gymboree, Pier 1 Imports, The Bombay Company, Hot Topic, Saks 5th Avenue and Armani. It partners with leading retail software vendors such as Blue Martini, Retek and IBM. SkillNet serves its clients from its HQ in Cupertino, California, USA, St. Louis, Missouri, Singapore and Mumbai, India. We are opening our European offices in Q1, 2005.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish contact with end clients in retail and other verticals
  • Selling SkillNet's services throughout the sales cycle, which include Business and IT Consulting, Application Development and Integration, application maintenance, and Application Management Outsourcing. Functional domains include eCommerce, store operations, CRM, merchandising and supply chain.
  • Build relationships from the CXO level down to maximize revenues from end clients
  • Make sales presentations to key decision makers effectively selling SkillNet's capabilities
  • Managing new end client accounts with sales targets and grow them to full long-term potential to generate maximum long term revenues
  • Employing solution-selling techniques to identify business needs, developing customized solutions, and measuring ROI to solve client business problems
  • Negotiate and close business contracts with end clients
  • Manage partner and client satisfaction
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams

Experience and Skills
Minimum 6 to 7 years of sales experience with a Tier 1 or 2 technology services/outsourcing organization or a tier 1 off-shore software consulting organization in a similar role. Proven, successful experience in carrying and meeting sizable targets. Must be an effective communicator and possess a "can do" attitude.

Compensation on meeting targets would match the best in the industry.
